Storytelling Time with Ear Delights in the Media Library Rieselfeld
On October 7, 2026, the Media Library Rieselfeld invites children from three years old to a special storytelling hour. The Hour of Ear Delights focuses on picture book stories, listening together, and the joy of language.
Stories that come alive
Our storytelling volunteers read selected picture book stories and create a warm live atmosphere for young listeners. Between quiet moments, curious looks, and cheerful audience spirit, a concentrated concert experience for the ears is created – without a stage, but with plenty of imagination.
An afternoon for little book fans
The event is aimed at children from three years old. Just sit down, listen up, and enjoy: The Hour of Ear Delights combines literary education with playful closeness and opens the way into the world of stories. Rhythm, voice, repetition, and imagery make reading aloud a sensual experience.
Reading promotion with a personal touch
Reading aloud strengthens language feeling, concentration, and imagination. In the Media Library Rieselfeld, children encounter picture books in a relaxed environment and experience how their own images arise in their minds from printed pages. The personal stage performance of the storytellers relies on voice, timing, and narrative synchronization.
Conclusion: Dive in together and listen
The Hour of Ear Delights offers families a lovingly designed entry into the afternoon: entertaining, free, and full of stories. Those who want to share the joy of books with children will experience an atmospheric storytelling time in the Media Library Rieselfeld, filled with closeness, imagination, and many little aha moments.
