KaiserHerbst 2026: Wine, Enjoyment and Culture at Kaiserstuhl
As the vines turn golden red, the enjoyable season begins in the Nature Garden Kaiserstuhl: From October 10 to November 8, 2026, KaiserHerbst connects around 100 events for a diverse multi-day experience between Kaiserstuhl and Tuniberg.
Four Weeks Full of Wine and Autumn Moments
Wine tastings, culinary experiences, festivals, concerts, cabaret, nature and wine experiences, as well as guided tours make the KaiserHerbst a regional event series with many facets. Between vineyard slopes, historic winemaker farms, wine cellars, kitchens, and special cultural sites, a vibrant festival atmosphere emerges, deeply rooted in the landscape and traditions of the region.
KaiserWii Opens the Season
The kick-off on October 10, 2026, is marked by the KaiserWii at the Bastian Winery in Endingen. Starting at 7:00 PM, visitors can discover more than 120 wines from over 70 wineries and wine cooperatives from Kaiserstuhl and Tuniberg. Sparkling wine, white wine, Pinot Noir, rosé, cuvée, PiWi wines, and non-alcoholic varieties will be paired with autumnal dishes and musical accompaniment.
Entry to KaiserWii is free. For tastings, there are a KaiserWii pass, smaller wine samples, and individual glasses available. The required KaiserWii glass can be obtained on site for a deposit.
Festival Grounds among Vines, Cellars, and Places of Enjoyment
The KaiserHerbst does not rely on a single main stage but instead features a wide-ranging event program throughout the entire wine region. Each station develops its own character: enjoyable evenings at wineries, culinary and social connections at winemaker farms, while guided tours make nature, viticulture, and landscapes tangible.
Festival Culture with Regional Character
The festival organization is managed by Nature Garden Kaiserstuhl GmbH, which brings together regional businesses, cultural workers, gastronomy, and tourism stakeholders. The KaiserHerbst shows how closely viticulture, hospitality, culture, and landscape are interconnected at Kaiserstuhl. Guests experience a varied community feeling between relaxed enjoyment, musical formats, and personal interactions with the people of the region.
