Tourist Information Hinterzarten | Opening Hours & Information

The Tourist Information Hinterzarten is the first real point of orientation for many guests in the area, as it brings together the most important questions regarding arrival, stay, and daily planning. Those searching for Tourist Information Hinterzarten, Tourist Info Hinterzarten, or simply Tourist Hinterzarten usually want not just an address but concrete help: Which tours are worthwhile, where can I get tickets, how do I plan my day, and whom can I contact with spontaneous questions? This is exactly what the contact point in the Kurhaus Hinterzarten is designed for. The official location page describes it as a personal advisory place for guests, providing tips on excursion destinations, hiking tours, and inns, while brochures, flyers, and other service offerings facilitate orientation in the Hochschwarzwald. This is complemented by its location in the center of the town at Freiburger Straße 1, where the Hochschwarzwald Tourismus GmbH is located and helps visitors practically prepare for their stay in the Black Forest. Opening Hours and Visit Planning of the Tourist Information Hinterzarten

With a search term like Tourist Information Hinterzarten opening hours or Tourist Info Hinterzarten opening hours, the utility value is clearly in the foreground: No one wants to arrive only to find a locked door. Therefore, the official regional page of the Hochschwarzwald Tourismus GmbH refers to the current opening hours and information for tourist information centers and info points in the Hinterzarten region. Currently, different time indications appear in the recorded local directories: One directory states Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 17:00 and closed on weekends, while another lists Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 16:00. This discrepancy shows why a quick look at the current status before visiting is sensible. Especially in a region with seasonally fluctuating occupancy, hiking weather, winter operations, and holidays, flexible planning is often a better choice than a fixed standard value. Those arriving early in the day usually get the most relaxed advisory framework, as tickets, questions about tours, and ticket issues can be clarified without time pressure. Those who only stop by in the afternoon should check the opening hours again or inquire by phone to ensure that the consultation fits into their daily plan. The service hotline of the Hochschwarzwald Tourismus GmbH is provided on the official contact page with +49 7652 1206 0 and complements the on-site visit sensibly. ([hochschwarzwald.de](https://www.hochschwarzwald.de/service/tourist-informationen/tourist-informationen-region-hinterzarten))

This topic is so dominant for keyword analysis because opening hours are always linked to the immediate travel decision. Many users do not search abstractly for tourist information but specifically for whether they can get help now, today, or on the next vacation day. The official structure of the Hochschwarzwald page supports exactly that: current opening hours, regional location overviews, and direct contact options are in the foreground. A clear recommendation can be derived from this: Those planning their stay in Hinterzarten on-site should not see the Tourist Information as a last resort but as the first step to sensibly combine weather, daily routes, dining, and reservations. This is particularly helpful when hiking, cycling, or spontaneous excursions with family, groups, or larger luggage are on the agenda. Seasonal differences also play a role, as the Hochschwarzwald has different focuses depending on the season: in summer, tours, excursion destinations, and mountain bike routes are in the spotlight, while in winter, snow sports, winter paths, and suitable excursion tips take precedence. The Tourist Information thus functions like a small navigator that turns general vacation wishes into concrete decisions. Address and Location in the Kurhaus Hinterzarten

The address of the Tourist Information Hinterzarten is quickly noted, but it is more than just a data point: Kurhaus Hinterzarten, Freiburger Straße 1, 79856 Hinterzarten. This location in the Kurhaus is important for user intent, as many search queries for Tourist Information Hinterzarten photos or Tourist Information Hinterzarten address ultimately revolve around how the place can be visually and spatially classified. The official location page explicitly names the location in the Kurhaus Hinterzarten, and the regional overview also lists the address under Freiburger Straße 1 in Hinterzarten. For visitors, this is practical because the contact point is thus centrally anchored in the town and can easily be integrated into a local round, a walk, or the start of a larger day tour. So, anyone coming to Hinterzarten and wanting to orient themselves first receives here a compact, easily findable address with high utility. The tourist function of the house is clearly recognizable: It is not about an abstract administrative location but about a place where guests are personally, friendly, and thematically helped. ([hochschwarzwald.de](https://www.hochschwarzwald.de/attraktionen/tourist-information-hinterzarten-1c8b7d304e))

Search queries for tourism Hinterzarten or Tourist Hinterzarten also lead directly to this type of center. The place is the official entry point for information about the Hochschwarzwald, and the Tourist Information connects the community, region, and leisure offerings in a compact space. This is particularly valuable when one wants to spend the first day of vacation not searching but arriving. Instead of comparing various websites for a long time, guests receive here a personal overview of hiking suggestions, excursion destinations, dining options, and other practical questions. For keyword planning, this means: The address is not just a contact point but a strong anchor of trust. Those who know the Kurhaus know that they are heading to a real, central place where advice, information material, and regional expertise come together. In a place like Hinterzarten, which is strongly influenced by nature, movement, and seasonal experiences, this simple spatial anchoring is a real added value. It makes the Tourist Information a hub between the town center and the holiday region, between arrival and activity, between map and actual tour. Consultation, Brochures, and Booking Service On-Site

A central feature of the Tourist Information Hinterzarten is personal consultation. The official description emphasizes that guests are supported there by Hochschwarzwald experts and receive answers to questions about stay, tours, and regional offerings. This is particularly important for people who are not just looking for any information but need concrete decision-making assistance. For example, those searching for tourist information Hinterzarten reviews often want to know if the place is truly helpful and if they get more than just a brochure. This is where the practical added value becomes apparent: In addition to personal consultation, numerous flyers and brochures are available that provide a quick overview of the holiday region. There is also a wide range of service offerings that can immediately facilitate the stay. Free rental items such as wagons, child carriers, strollers, nature explorer backpacks, and hiking poles are particularly exciting for families and active guests. Thus, a pure information office becomes a real equipment and planning partner for the vacation day. ([hochschwarzwald.de](https://www.hochschwarzwald.de/attraktionen/tourist-information-hinterzarten-1c8b7d304e))

The Tourist Information is also well-equipped for specific booking inquiries. The official page lists it as a booking office for Reservix, Schwarzwald-Card, Flixbus, and Badeparadies Schwarzwald. This is an important note for all those who want to combine their time in the Hochschwarzwald not only with hiking but also with events, admission services, or further travel. Additionally, there is an internet hotspot and an internet PC; the latter is only partially usable but still offers a useful reserve in practice when something needs to be quickly checked, printed, or organized while on the go. For many guests, the fact that the Hochschwarzwald Card makes certain service offerings cheaper is also relevant. This makes the Tourist Information a small savings and organization point where not only information but also real travel components come together. In total, a place emerges that is particularly strong when the vacation has not been planned in detail in advance. Then, the Tourist Information Hinterzarten can complement missing puzzle pieces, spark spontaneous ideas, and turn a rough daily idea into a functioning process. ([hochschwarzwald.de](https://www.hochschwarzwald.de/attraktionen/tourist-information-hinterzarten-1c8b7d304e))

The topic of brochures is by no means outdated. Especially in a region like the Hochschwarzwald, where paths, elevation changes, seasonal offerings, and different target groups play a role, printed overviews are often quicker to understand than lengthy digital research. The Tourist Information therefore bundles information that would otherwise be spread across many places: excursion destinations, tours, dining, maps, rentals, and ticket inquiries. Those arriving with family benefit from practical aids such as strollers or child carriers; those who are active enjoy hiking poles or the nature explorer backpack; those who simply want to stay spontaneous receive orientation and can tune into the day on-site. This mixture of personal consultation and concrete material makes the location search engine relevant. Users are not only looking for an address but for a place that reduces everyday worries during vacation. Thus, the Tourist Information Hinterzarten becomes a quiet but important part of the travel experience. It ensures that the first step into the holiday area is characterized not by uncertainty but by clarity. ([hochschwarzwald.de](https://www.hochschwarzwald.de/attraktionen/tourist-information-hinterzarten-1c8b7d304e))

Info Point Hinterzarten: Maps, Bike Station, and Digital Information

A second strong keyword theme is the Info Point Hinterzarten. The official description mentions a digital info terminal where guests can specifically search for leisure activities, excursion destinations, and other offerings in the Hochschwarzwald holiday region. At the same time, overview maps for hiking and cycling tours are available, making the place particularly attractive for active vacationers. In addition, there is a bike station with a repair kit, a pump, and an e-bike charging station. For search queries like Info Point Hinterzarten or cycling Hinterzarten, this is a very clear signal: It is not just about general information but about practical support for on-the-go. Those arriving by bike or mountain bike will therefore find not only digital hints but also small but crucial aids for mobility. This is a noticeable added value, as a burst pump, a loose screw, or the search for a suitable route can quickly change the day's schedule. This is why the combination of terminal, map material, and service stations is so convincing. It makes the location a kind of micro-hub for mobility, orientation, and spontaneous tour planning. ([hochschwarzwald.de](https://www.hochschwarzwald.de/attraktionen/infopunkt-hinterzarten-6839060bed?utm_source=openai))

It is particularly interesting that the Info Point and the Tourist Information complement each other in content. The Info Point covers quick, independent information searches, while the Tourist Information in the Kurhaus takes over personal consultation. This is a strong model for guests because not every question requires the same level of consultation. Some just want to see at a glance which hike, bike tour, or excursion destination fits right now. Others need a detailed recommendation on weather, length, difficulty, or dining options along the route. This is where the advantage of the dual structure lies: digital and personal, quick and individual, map overview and conversation. For keyword analysis, terms like tourist information hinterzarten opening hours, info point hinterzarten, hiking hinterzarten, and cycling hinterzarten are closely linked. The official page confirms this connection by explicitly describing the Info Point with hiking and cycling tours, excursion destinations, and e-bike charging stations. So, anyone planning an active stay will find more in the area than just a classic information office: They will find a practical entry point into movement in the region. ([hochschwarzwald.de](https://www.hochschwarzwald.de/attraktionen/infopunkt-hinterzarten-6839060bed?utm_source=openai))

This structure is also useful for the first day of vacation. Instead of immediately dealing with confusing search results after arrival, one can set a rough direction at the Info Point: today a round on foot, tomorrow a bike tour, the day after maybe an excursion with map material or a weather-dependent alternative. The Hochschwarzwald tourism region clearly focuses on orientation and self-planning without replacing personal consultation. This makes the Tourist Information Hinterzarten not only practical but also contemporary. The combination of digital information and real service is ideal for guests who want to be spontaneous but not aimless. Especially in a natural area with elevations, distances, and changing conditions, this type of assistance is very valuable. Hinterzarten thus becomes a place where the start of the journey does not remain in the fog but begins with maps, tips, and concrete possibilities. ([hochschwarzwald.de](https://www.hochschwarzwald.de/attraktionen/infopunkt-hinterzarten-6839060bed?utm_source=openai))

Hinterzarten as a Starting Point for Hiking, Cycling, and Winter Days

Hinterzarten is not just a place with Tourist Information in the Hochschwarzwald but a location with many active vacation themes. The official regional page describes the Hochschwarzwald as a holiday region with opportunities for hiking, cycling, mountain biking, and a wealth of nature experiences. The own Hinterzarten page of the region also refers to excursion destinations, winter activities, trails, winter hiking paths, and other seasonal offerings. This makes it clear why the Tourist Information is so important here: It does not help in a completely neutral context but in a region where guests often have to choose between outdoor options. When someone searches for excursion destinations hinterzarten, hiking hinterzarten, or cycling hinterzarten, they usually want to know what is really suitable depending on the weather, time, and condition. The Tourist Information provides exactly this kind of orientation by combining advice and regional knowledge. ([hochschwarzwald.de](https://www.hochschwarzwald.de/hochschwarzwald-region?utm_source=openai))

For day visitors as well as for vacationers with multiple overnight stays, this is a great advantage. Those who only visit the Hochschwarzwald briefly usually have little time and need quick decisions. Those who stay longer want to discover the region in a structured way without starting from scratch every day. The Tourist Information Hinterzarten helps by not only referring to the immediate surroundings but also opening the view to the entire holiday region. This ranges from cozy walks to longer hiking tours to cycling and winter activities, which place completely different demands depending on the season. Additionally, Hinterzarten as a place is already strongly connected with nature and movement. In conjunction with the tourism consultation, this creates a kind of practical planning space: What makes sense today, how far is it, what equipment do I need, and where can I get further help? These questions are often more important during vacation than any glossy description. This is precisely why the Tourist Information Hinterzarten is both search engine and user relevant. It does not answer abstract questions but the very concrete ones that arise before a hike, a bike tour, or a winter excursion. ([hochschwarzwald.de](https://www.hochschwarzwald.de/hochschwarzwald-region?utm_source=openai))

The region also connects different travel needs: nature experience, active vacation, family time, and practical organization. The Tourist Information supports exactly this mix because it explains tours and excursion destinations on one hand and provides helpers for everyday life on the other. Those traveling with children benefit from rental items and personal consultation. Those arriving for sports can use maps, routes, and services. Those who are more culture or enjoyment-oriented receive recommendations for inns and complementary offerings. It is precisely the combination of local knowledge and regional overview that makes the place so useful. Hinterzarten thus becomes the starting point for very different vacation moments: quiet forest paths, sporty routes, spontaneous alternatives in bad weather, or simply a relaxed planning stop before the next program point. The search behavior clearly shows this versatility, as the keywords surrounding Hinterzarten revolve not only around opening hours but also around photos, reviews, excursion destinations, and services. This diversity is reflected in the Tourist Information on-site. ([hochschwarzwald.de](https://www.hochschwarzwald.de/erleben/ausflugsziele/sehenswuerdigkeiten-und-ausflugsziele-in-hinterzarten?utm_source=openai))

Photos, Reviews, and the First Impression Before the Visit

Search queries for Tourist Information Hinterzarten photos or Tourist Information Hinterzarten reviews show a typical user pattern: Before someone sets off, they want to get a picture of the place and assess whether the contact point fits their needs. This is understandable, as at a Tourist Information, not only the formal existence counts but also the first impression of accessibility, clarity, and usefulness. The official pages make a very clear promise: Hinterzarten is a place for personal consultation, concrete assistance, and practical vacation organization. The visual anchor is the Kurhaus at Freiburger Straße 1, a clearly identifiable location that is easy to find again. This results in the answer for photo and review seekers primarily to the question of how the place can be classified: not as an abstract administrative address but as a central guest point in the town. Even if photos on external platforms often only show the outer frame, it can already be seen from the official information that function and location are at the center. ([hochschwarzwald.de](https://www.hochschwarzwald.de/attraktionen/tourist-information-hinterzarten-1c8b7d304e))

For the first visit, what one expects there is especially important. Those who just want a brochure quickly will probably get an uncomplicated stop. Those who want to delve deeper into the Hochschwarzwald can benefit significantly more from the advice, maps, and booking options. This is why reviews are often particularly positive when guests have directly experienced the practical benefits. The available location data also show that the Tourist Information does not work in isolation but is integrated into a larger tourism network: Info point, maps, rentals, digital information, and booking services interconnect. This increases the likelihood that a visit will be efficient and helpful, even if one does not yet have a fixed daily plan. For search engine relevance, this first impression is crucial, as users often want to decide before clicking whether they have a pure information address or a real service point in front of them. In Hinterzarten, it is clearly the latter. The place thus answers not only the question of where but above all the question of why: for orientation, for the next tour, for practical help, and for an easier vacation in the Hochschwarzwald.

Very friendly and helpful advice to avoid Hollental walk, as too close to road, avoid high level alternative as too hilly (for me) and do Sabelthomaweg. This was just right and a lovely day out in the Black Forest.

Online booking tickets - Ravennaschlucht Christmas market. We have been planning to visit this Christmas market for years. Unfortunately, always without success, as you have to set an alarm to get tickets. Good thing we did. Start today 14.10.2024 at 11:00 (for newsletter subscribers probably already at 10:00). The end of the story is that by 12:23 almost everything was sold out and to make matters worse, there was a system error with the booking for different date options - so you can't book parking spaces. Now we have tickets without parking, 30 minutes waiting in the customer service chat, and no more desire. If you want a quiet and sensual time even in October, you shouldn't book tickets here.
