Nice place for indoor climbing here in Freiburg. The staff is always friendly and the routes are very nice although few. The year-round activities are also fun, especially in the spring and summer months.

Great place to climb. The routes are interesting and varied. The place is quite full usually. It's a bit expensive and not connected with Hansefit but there's a discount for DAV members.

The place was extremely crowded, loud and uncomfortable. There are a lot of nice routes but everything is squeezed in a too little space. Didn't really feel safe and comfortable while belaying, there was not enough space around. Another bad experience was the locker room and no changing rooms. There is just one very public locker room (right next to the main climbing hall) with lockers that cannot be locked (or maybe can but only if you are some club member or pay some extra, idk). We came to the Kletterzentrum to have a chilled climbing sesh but everything was rather stressful and not enjoyable at all. I might give it a chance some other time during the day, but evenings are definitely No-Gos for me.

Comfortable, has a small bistro service for my cappuccino needs while I wait for my daughter. As someone who very seldom goes climbing, it meets all my beginner's needs. Pricing is very reasonable as a DAV member...

Good mix of high-quality routes, not the best lighting and you can only climb a few times as a guest. Good helpful service and fine facilities.
