With “Have Fun: Jacques Offenbach” a operetta revue will come to the Main House of the Theater Freiburg on Thursday, November 12, 2026. The focus is on the music of the French composer Jacques Offenbach, which is combined with dance and theatrical representation in this stage production.
The audience can expect a varied connection of different artistic expressions: Offenbach's music meets movement, dramatic play, and the atmosphere of a revue. This creates a stage evening that links musical and performative elements together. The title Amusez-vous – “Have Fun” – refers to the entertaining character of the program.
Operetta Revue at the Theater Freiburg
The event takes place in the Main House, the large event space of the Theater Freiburg. The start is at 7:30 PM, and the end is scheduled for 9:30 PM. Therefore, interested parties should prepare for an approximately two-hour performance.
The revue is aimed at everyone who wants to experience Jacques Offenbach’s music in a scenic and dance form. Instead of a pure concert, the evening combines musical performance with theater and dance. This creates a stage format that presents Offenbach’s compositions from multiple perspectives.
