Run, Laugh, Have Fun for Kids!

The Bambinilauf is a popular sporting event specifically aimed at young children and therefore attracts numerous families every year. On July 17, 2026, the 41st edition of this fun and energetic run will take place. The venue is the grounds of the famous Mundenhof in Freiburg. The run is part of the environment of the Tent Music Festival (ZMF) and starts in the late afternoon.

The Mundenhof, as the largest wildlife nature experience farm in the region, provides a fantastic backdrop for such an occasion. Children can not only demonstrate their athletic abilities but also experience the many animals and nature on site.

A Day Full of Fun and Activity

The Bambinilauf aims to introduce children to the joy of sports and also promotes teamwork and community. Parents and relatives are invited to loudly support and celebrate the young athletes. In addition to the run, there will also be a small supporting program for visitors.
