Pen & Paper in Freiburg: Experience Fantastic Adventures Together

Pen & Paper in Freiburg: Creating Stories Together

On Saturday, October 17, 2026, the Mediothek Rieselfeld will be the meeting point for fantasy fans, curious beginners, and experienced role-players. In the pen-and-paper role-playing game, exciting stories are created together at the table – with creativity, imagination, pen, paper, and a few dice.

Adventure Begins with Encounter

The role-playing meeting invites youth from 14 years and adults to get to know Pen & Paper and join in directly. Members of the Role-Playing Association Freiburg explain how fantastic adventures arise from simple rules, narrative ideas, and shared decisions.

Event Atmosphere Between Dice and Fantasy

Different characters, game worlds, and narrative styles come together in the Mediothek Rieselfeld. The audience mood thrives on joint experimentation: A dice roll changes the plot, a creative idea opens new paths, and each group develops its own event experience.

For Beginners and Experienced Role-Players

The open role-playing meeting is suitable for people without prior knowledge as well as for experienced players. The event planning focuses on getting to know each other and participating. The focus is on playing together, exchanging ideas, and the joy of not just hearing a story, but shaping it oneself.

Organization and Important Notes

The organizer is the Freiburg City Library. The Role-Playing Association Freiburg supports the meeting as an expert contact around Pen & Paper and the role-playing community. Registration is not required. The access to the Mediothek Rieselfeld is barrier-free.

Conclusion: Freiburg Rolls into New Worlds

The Pen-and-Paper role-playing meeting connects fantasy, social encounters, and playful storytelling in a special event atmosphere. Those who want to meet new people, experience first adventures, or share their enthusiasm for role-playing will find the right table at the Mediothek Rieselfeld on October 17.
