Solar Mobile at the Zähringen Flea Market: Sustainability to Participate In
On Saturday, October 10, 2026, the Zähringen neighborhood flea market combines sustainable consumption, community, and climate protection. The solar mobile of the city of Freiburg invites visitors from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM for an illustrative excursion into the world of solar energy.
PV Quiz and Personal Consultation
At the solar mobile stand, renewable energies and photovoltaics are the focus. A PV quiz imparts knowledge playfully, while the classic PV consultation addresses practical questions about solar power. The offer is managed by the Energy Agency Regio Freiburg.
Energy Bicycle with Train for Children
For families, the energy bicycle with train offers a special shopping experience between flea market stalls and neighborhood programs. Children directly experience how movement generates energy. This makes climate protection understandable, visible, and linked to an active participation station.
Neighborhood Flea Market with Regional Engagement
The flea market takes place at several locations in Zähringen. The focus is on used children's and youth items, sustainable consumption, nutrition, and community. Additionally, the youth center Jatz, the climate quarter action groups books and encounters, as well as Repair Café Zähringen and the citizens' association Zähringen present themselves. Culinary offerings and further participatory actions create a lively market atmosphere.
Sustainability in Northern Freiburg
The solar mobile is part of the solar summer of the city of Freiburg. The action day combines environmental education with direct exchange in the neighborhood and shows how climate protection can be practically anchored in everyday life, households, and local communities.
The solar mobile at the Zähringen flea market offers families, market visitors, and climate protection enthusiasts a diverse opportunity to learn, try out, and exchange ideas. Those who want to experience sustainable ideas live and discover the neighborhood with its regional diversity should not miss this date in Zähringen.
