Story Magic in Haslach: Reading Joy for Little Explorers
When the picture book corner of the Haslach district library transforms into a room full of voices, images, and imagination, the story magic begins. On Wednesday, October 14, 2026, the reading mentors invite you to a half-hour reading session with new exciting, funny, and beautiful stories.
Literary Experience for Children Aged Three to Six
The event is particularly aimed at children aged three to six. All other listeners are also welcome. The focus is on child-friendly narratives, lively language, and the immediate closeness of a reading situation, where literature does not remain abstract but becomes tangible through voice, rhythm, and images.
Reading Promotion with Voice, Image, and Imagination
Reading aloud is an important bridge between everyday life and the literary world. At Story Magic, children experience how language creates tension, brings characters to life, and allows their own images to form in their minds. The selection of new stories combines entertainment with early reading promotion and opens a playful access to books, narration, and language art.
An Intimate Reading Atmosphere in the Library
Instead of a large stage, families can expect a focused, warm literary experience in the picture book corner. The manageable duration of 30 minutes fits well into family life and creates space for attention, wonder, and shared listening. It is precisely this intimate atmosphere that makes the authority of the spoken word immediately perceptible: one voice is enough to create entire worlds.
An Open Cultural Offer in the District
The Haslach district library will become a meeting point for young literature lovers and their families on this afternoon. Admission is free, and registration is not required. This keeps access low-threshold and allows for spontaneous encounters with books, stories, and the Freiburg city library as a place of cultural education.
Conclusion: Experience Stories Live
Story Magic gives children a first or next access to the world of literature: with exciting narratives, humorous moments, and the special power of shared reading. Those who want to experience language, imagination, and reading joy in a personal reading atmosphere should visit this event at the Haslach district library.
