Adventure, Creativity, and Children's Laughter at Open Saturday
On Saturday, November 7, 2026, the pedagogically supervised adventure playground Weingarten opens its doors for children aged 6 to 14 years. From 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, young visitors will experience a varied family experience with plenty of room for playing, discovering, and creating together.
Space for Curious Explorers
At the spacious adventure playground, diverse opportunities for age-appropriate activities await. Children can develop their own ideas, experiment, and actively explore their surroundings. Valuable learning experiences arise: independence, creativity, movement, and community action are at the forefront.
Crafting, Building, and Animal Interaction
The open program offers changing activities in the areas of crafting, building, and animal interaction. Whether through creative work, constructing with various materials, or encountering animals: Open Saturday combines fun learning with practical experience and sensory impressions. Children experience how their curiosity leads to their own projects.
Pedagogically Supervised and Age-Appropriate
The adventure playground in the city of Freiburg is pedagogically supervised. The open structure strengthens the development of children because they can make their own decisions, test their abilities, and gather social experiences. The age group of 6 to 14 years provides a suitable environment for independent play and joint activities.
Safety and Shared Experience
The supervised framework provides orientation and supports a safe family experience. The playground is open for children and adolescents aged 6 to 14 years from Thursday to Saturday. Open Saturday thus offers a child-friendly opportunity to connect nature, movement, creativity, and community.
Conclusion: Open Saturday brings children together in Freiburg, granting them time for adventure, creativity, and new learning experiences. Families experience an open, pedagogically supervised place where children's laughter, curiosity, and trying things out together are at the center.
