Adventure, Creativity, and Children's Laughter at the Adventure Playground

On Friday, October 2, 2026, the Open Program invites children and youth to a varied family experience at the Adventure Playground Weingarten in Freiburg. From 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, young visitors aged 6 to 14 will discover various activities, gain practical experiences, and spend quality time outdoors.

Wild Cooking for Curious Explorers

In the Wild Cooking session with Rubina and Hannah, trying things out together is the focus. Children experience food, preparation, and teamwork in a child-friendly way. The activity combines fun learning with sensory experience and strengthens independence, creativity, and a sense of community.

Get Creative and Implement Your Ideas

Lugh and Dorian accompany a creative offer where young participants can unleash their imagination freely. Drawing, crafting, and experimenting support fine motor skills, expressiveness, and joy in one’s own creation. An age-appropriate learning experience is created without performance pressure.

Building Huts and Open Construction

In hut building with Patrick and Jo, as well as open construction with Patrick, planning, trying out, and building is done together. Children playfully learn how stable constructions arise from ideas. This strengthens spatial thinking, problem-solving skills, and social competencies. The supervised activities allow space for personal decisions and collective actions.

Animal Encounters at the Open Stable Meeting

The open stable meeting with Yessi and Line brings children in contact with everyday life at the adventure playground. The encounter with animals creates special moments of wonder and promotes a mindful relationship with the environment. The offer connects nature experience, responsibility, and child-friendly development.

A Family Afternoon with Educational Value

The Open Program is aimed at children and youth aged 6 to 14. The various stations address different interests: cooking, crafting, building, and animal encounters. Thanks to the open structure, young visitors can follow their curiosity, discover abilities, and participate at their own pace. The activities take place around the adventure playground and are accompanied by the mentioned contact persons.

Conclusion: Out of Daily Life, Into Adventure

The Open Program at the Adventure Playground Weingarten promises a varied afternoon filled with children's laughter, movement, creativity, and shared time.
