Open Program: Adventure, Creativity and Learning Fun in Freiburg

At the adventure playground Weingarten, children and teenagers experience a varied afternoon with practical activities, shared ideas, and plenty of space for independent exploration. The open program on October 16, 2026, is aimed at children and teenagers aged 6 to 14 and combines children's laughter, movement, and creative learning experiences.

Wild Kitchen with Hannah and Dorian

In the wild kitchen, the focus is on preparing, trying out, and enjoying food together. Children gain practical experience with food and see how individual ingredients come together to create something communal. This enhances independence, teamwork, and enjoyment of conscious nutrition.

Creative Offer with Lugh and Jo

The creative offer invites participants to make their own ideas visible. While designing, experimenting, and developing, personal artworks take shape. The open atmosphere supports imagination, fine motor skills, and the development of individual solutions – child-friendly, age-appropriate, and without performance pressure.

Cabin Building with Patrick

In cabin building, hands-on work is essential: planning, building, and making joint decisions make the adventure tangible. Children and teenagers test their craft skills, train their motor skills, and learn to take responsibility for materials and shared building ideas. Safety and mutual consideration are important foundations in this process.

A Pedagogically Valuable Free Space

The adventure playground works with open, experiential educational offerings. Cabin building, creative design, and cooking promote independence, creativity, cooperation, and a sense of responsibility. Experiences in nature and the handling of various materials support holistic development and make learning immediately tangible.

Family-Friendly Information

The program is designed for children and teenagers aged 6 to 14 years. The adventure playground Weingarten is a weather-independent learning and experience place with open offerings in the areas of crafting, building, and nature. There is no admission fee for participating in this open program.
