On Friday, October 9, 2026, the Mediothek Rieselfeld will be the meeting point for young gaming fans. The event is aimed at children and teenagers who want to try out digital games, play together, and share their enthusiasm for gaming.
Fun in a Relaxed Atmosphere
Whether it's an exciting game round, trying out games together, or casual exchanges: at gaming in the Mediothek, the shared experience of the event counts. The quiet environment of the library combines media literacy, leisure organization, and audience atmosphere into a varied afternoon. This creates an open event atmosphere where both experienced players and curious beginners are welcome.
Experience Digital Media Together
The offerings of the Freiburg City Library show how modern library work and digital leisure culture come together. Gaming is not only about competition, but also about communication, team spirit, and discovering different games. The on-site organization creates a straightforward framework for children and teenagers who want to spend time together.
Practical Information for Families
The gaming event takes place at the Mediothek Rieselfeld at Maria-von-Rudloff-Platz 2. Participation is free of charge. Comparable gaming events by the Freiburg City Library are offered without registration and are aimed at children aged eight and older.
