Free Gaming in Freiburg: Fun in the Gaming Zone
On Friday, October 16, 2026, the Haslach District Library transforms into an open meeting place for young gaming fans. From 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, consoles, tablets, and a gaming PC will be available for playing, testing, and exchanging ideas.
Play together, discover and try out
In the gaming zone of the Haslach District Library, four consoles provide varied gaming moments: PS5, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo 3DS are available. This offering is complemented by iPads and a gaming PC. The event combines digital leisure, encounters, and a library atmosphere into an uncomplicated event experience for children and adolescents.
One hour of gaming with a valid ID
With a valid ID, one hour can be spent playing, testing, and discussing games together. The organization is intentionally open and provides space for personal interests, new gaming experiences, and a relaxed atmosphere for the audience. Console games may be used according to the respective USK age rating; gaming on the PC is possible from the age of 12.
Digital leisure at the District Library
The event shows how modern library work and digital media come together. The event planning aims for an accessible approach, clear age rules, and communal gaming. This creates a varied afternoon for young visitors who want to experience gaming not only at home but also in exchange with others.
Participation is free. Those interested in console games, iPads, and gaming on PC will experience three hours of open play fun in a pleasant atmosphere at the Haslach District Library. Mark the date now and discover the gaming offer live.
