Free Gaming in Freiburg: Fun for Children and Young People
On Friday, October 2, 2026, the gaming zone of the Haslach district library will become an open meeting place for young gaming fans. From 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, visitors can try out various consoles, iPads, and a gaming PC, play, and exchange ideas.
Gaming Zone with Diverse Equipment
Four consoles are available for varied gaming moments: PS5, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo 3DS. The offerings are complemented by iPads and a gaming PC. The event combines digital entertainment with communal experiences and offers space to get to know new games or play familiar favorites.
One Hour of Playing, Testing, and Exchanging
With a valid ID, one hour can be played per visit. The organization of the offering relies on fair usage times and an uncomplicated process without registration. This creates a lively event atmosphere where children and young people can play together, share experiences, and discover new gaming ideas.
Age Ratings and Participation
The respective USK age ratings apply for the console games. The gaming PC can be used from age 12. Admission is free; registration is not required. This makes the event particularly suitable for families, children, and young people looking for an open gaming meetup in Freiburg.
